Solelay Latex Mattress.
Solelay combines all the strength and maximum performance of two excellent raw materials:
upper layer 8cm open cell Talalay latex and lower layer 10cm Monocell Grand Soleil. Modelled with seven zones of differentiated Firmness rating, Solelay is a combination of great qualities for a mattress with unique performance. Special profiling enhances the anatomic adaptation and increases the breathability of the mattress.

A unique production process
To reach the Talalay standards, latex foam has to be subjected to a highly complex processing cycle, which starts with injection into specially designed aluminium moulds through thousand of needles, which ensure absolutely homogeneous transfer of temperature. It is the start of a long production process that includes vacuum treatment, refrigeration at -30 Celsius, stabilisation, vulcanisation at +112 Celsius and washing. During the process air cells form inside the latex, which expand to form a homogeneous structure, creating intercommunicating air channels and stably fixing their structure. The resulting Talalay foam offers better properties of support, internal permeability to air and resilience.

Monocell The cells are all the same size. It supports the body and matches its movements perfectly, assuring a regenerative, comfortable sleep.

7 zones Seven zones cores with different grades of firmness to follow correctly the curves of the body and provide optimal support.

Air aeration system A honeycomb structure means the level of moisture and heat is constantly controlled, like a real aeration system, keeping the mattress cool and dry at all times.

Machine washable All covers can be washed in home washing machine, at the temperatures indicated on the care label, to keep the mattress fresh and clean.

Zip on 4 sides The cover can be separated completely thanks to a practical zip fitted on all four sides so that the two parts can be washed separately.

Certifications

UNI EN ISO 9001 : 2000 Dorsal became ISO 9001 registered in 2001 and renewed certification in 2003 and 2005, conforming to the Vision 2000 standard. Every level of Dorsal organization is involved in this quality process, whose final aim is to increase the company competitiveness and pursue total customer satisfaction.

CE EC declaration of conformity in accordance with EEC directive 98/37, formerly 392/89, and subsequent supplements, appendix II point A. Dorsal is authorized to affix CE Marking, which is applied on all motor-driven anatomical bed bases for the safety and protection of the end consumer. Products with CE marking also come with a user manual.

CATAS Dorsal is a member of the Catas Test Laboratory (used for tests on bed bases and mattresses).

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 The Oeko Tex Standard 100 (baby products class) provides assurance that the product contains no substances that are harmful to humans and that manufacturing processes are environmentally friendly and CFC-free.

The creation of the innovative material has already been given the support of C.A.R.M.E.N., an important renewable resources coordination centre in Baviera: this collaboration fully testifies to the environmental awareness of Grand Soleil.
